It works on an ₹8,000 phone.
Most of our users are site engineers on cheap Android phones, out in full sun. Big text, few taps, a small app. If it is slow on an ₹8,000 phone, it is not done.

Made in Jaipur, for the installers putting solar on India’s roofs.
EPCoffice is a solar software company in Jaipur. We make one app for rooftop installers with fewer than 50 people — the teams who run every site on WhatsApp groups, notebooks and Excel today. We start with the PM Surya Ghar subsidy file, because that is where jobs get stuck.
Why we exist
A rooftop job lives in ten apps and three people’s heads.
We spent our first months on roofs and in site offices around Jaipur, watching how a job really moves from the first call to the last subsidy instalment. In a small company it sits in five places at once.
- 1WhatsApp groupsThe lead, the roof photos and every “send the bill”.
- 2A notebookRoof sketch, sizes, where the tank and the stairs are.
- 3Excel and TallyThe quotation in one. Every bill typed in again in the other.
- 4A stack of filesPM Surya Ghar papers for each customer, across the portal’s ten stages.
- 5Somebody’s headWho has the DISCOM date, and which file has been stuck for 60 days.
When that somebody is on leave, the job waits. EPCoffice puts all of it on the site itself: one place per job, open on the phone of whoever is holding it.
What we believe
Four rules every screen has to pass.
We build for the people a small solar company runs on: the site engineer on the roof, accounts, the finance manager and the owner. Most of them work from a phone, not a desk.
Hindi or English, person by person.
The engineer reads Hindi and the owner reads English, on the same site. Each person picks their language, and field words stay field words.
No signal on the roof is normal.
Photos, surveys and bills save on the phone first and show a clock. They send themselves when the network comes back, and the clock turns into a tick.
Every job lives on its site.
Photos, survey, design, BOM, bills, quotation and the subsidy file hang off one site. Anyone can open it and see where the job stands.
How we work with installers
We set you up on WhatsApp, in your language, from your own sheets.
- Write to us
Email support@epcoffice.com or book a demo below. We reply the same day in Hindi or English, set up your company with you and send the invite on WhatsApp.
- Send us your Excel
The PM Surya Ghar export from the vendor portal, your lead sheet, your site list. Every file lands on its portal stage, and rows you already have are skipped.
- Your team joins with a code
Owner, sales, surveyors, site engineers and accounts sign in with their own mobile number and see their own home, in their own language.
- Your data stays yours
Bills go to Tally, reports and quotations to PDF, and we export your whole company to Excel whenever you ask.
